Artist Statement : The main drive for creating my work stems from a compulsive need to explore the human condition and its intrinsic dialogue within the realm of fantasy in an attempt to formulate thought-provoking critiques contextualized through the use of social anthropology and current issues. My visual practice takes shape by combining materials and mediums. I use drawings, found objects, wood, sound, printmaking, paintings, and paper cutouts to create animated films. These films are sometimes used in my mixed media installations forming a coherent interplay between the static and the moving image making up the multilayered discipline of my work.
